During Maths Week 2020/21, we made an extra effort to see maths in the world around us and to interlink the use of the strands we’ve already learned about.
We completed some maths puzzles. We completed art lessons using tangrams and worked on symmetry using natural objects. We made shapes using what we found outside. We even had a competition to see which group could build the tallest free standing structure! We went on maths trails.
